Singer Kim Choo-ja to release 1st album in 33 years

Kim Choo-ja, a popular singer from the s who had fallen off the radar of Korea's quickly-changing music industry, is preparing to return with her first album in 33 years.
The new album will be released sometime in April and feature songs written by veteran rocker Shin Joong-hyun, according to Kim's management agency Tuesday.
"The album will come out in the earlier part of April and she will perform at the Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium on May 16 and 17 to promote it," Chris Gim, director of ESP Entertainment, said in a telephone conversation.
"There will be nine or 10 songs on the new album, including four written by Shin.
Most of the rest will be reworked versions of Kim's lesser-known songs that have been released previously.
