John Joseph Danilovich (born 25 June ) is an American business executive who was secretary general of the International Chamber of Commerce^[1] from – He previously held roles as a senior United States government executive, diplomat, and ambassador.

Danilovich was the chief executive officer of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) from to Prior to his appointment as CEO of the MCC by President George W. Bush,^[2] Danilovich served as the United States Ambassador to Brazil (), United States Ambassador to Costa Rica (), and was on the board of directors of the Panama Canal Commission (), chairing the Commission's Transition Committee prior to the transfer of the Canal to the Panamanians.^[3] Danilovich was active in the international maritime industry for several decades, as a member of the executive management board of Atlas Interocean Shipping Group () and consultant with the Eisenhower
